Celebrating 50 Years of the St. John Bosco Mission
About the Celebration
Join us as we give thanks to God for fifty years of grace, community, and mission at St. John Bosco. This two-day jubilee celebration coincides with the beautiful Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady — a fitting occasion to reflect on where we have come from, and to look with hope toward the future.
The weekend will feature an in-depth presentation on the history and life of our Mission, a memorable farewell to our beloved pastor Fr. Burfitt, an inspiring address by our featured speaker, along with food, live music, and dancing to carry the joy of this milestone deep into the night.
Special Guests
A slave to Our Blessed Mother, Father Isaac Mary Relyea is recognized for his passionate and direct preaching style. His sermons often emphasize the importance of living the Catholic Faith actively and avoiding sin.
For those of us who have been blessed to see, hear, and spend time with Fr. Burfitt, this is a very difficult time. This celebration will be Fr. Burfitt's last stop before heading east for his next assignment at St. Vincent's in Kansas City. How do you say farewell?

All prices are strictly donations. Even though this is an elaborate and costly event, no one will be turned away for lack of funds — please donate what you can.
Seating is limited. No one will be turned away unless we run out of tickets. It will be a great help to register sooner rather than later.
